Originally from Seattle, Washington, Aaron Heick is a saxophonist and woodwind player currently living in New York City. In 2012, he became a permanent member of the CBS Orchestra, the house band for the Late Show with David Letterman, and held the position until the show ended in 2015. Other career highlights include touring and recording with Chaka Khan, Barbra Streisand, and Richard Bona, as well as being a featured soloist in Sting’s Symphonicities project.
Mr. Heick has also performed with Paul Simon, Stevie Wonder, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Aretha Franklin, Bruce Springsteen, Tony Bennett, Frank Sinatra, Donald Fagen, Carly Simon, James Taylor, Suzanne Vega, Seal, Cyndi Lauper, Audra McDonald, Vanessa Williams, Phillip Glass, the New York Philharmonic, and the New York City Ballet.
