Owen Kotler

Owen Kotler has traveled extensively in Europe, Asia, the United States, and Canada, concertizing and sampling the local cuisine, wine, and culture. Born in the Bronx, Mr. Kotler studied at the High School of Music and Art, and then the Manhattan School of Music with the great clarinet teacher Leon Russianoff. He lives in Seattle, where he runs his natural wine import company, and in New York, where he performs regularly with the New York Pops, Knickerbocker Chamber Orchestra, and the Westchester Philharmonic.
Mr. Kotler regularly plays on movie soundtracks and does other studio recording work in Seattle. He has played in over 30 Broadway shows, appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman, and has been featured as a jazz soloist with the Northeastern Pennsylvania Philharmonic.
