Artistic Director Aloysia Friedmann, violin/viola and  Artistic Advisor Jon Kimura Parker, piano, will welcome the following artists to the 18th Season: the Miró Quartet,  Oliver Aldort, cello; Paul Hansen, percussion; David Harding, viola; Desmond Hoebig, cello; Nathan Hughes, oboe; Lachezar Kostov, cello; Timothy McAllister, saxophone; Lorna McGhee, flute; James Paul, conductor; Charlie Porter, trumpet; Orli Shaham, piano; Adam Stern, reciter; Sæunn Thorsteinsdóttir, cello;  Viktor Valkov, piano; and  Sandy Yamamoto, violin.
Assisting Artists are: Sharon Abreu, voice; Roberta Hansen Downey, cello; Sasha von Dassow, cello and Frances Walton, cello. Teaching Artists are Rachel Buchman and Monique Mead.

Aloysia Friedmann, Founder and Artistic Director

Alyosia

Ms. Friedmann is a violinist and violist, whose broad-ranging career has included tours in Japan, Europe, South America and the U.S., performances with New York’s most prestigious musical ensembles, and a special onstage role on Broadway. Trained at The Juilliard School and the University of Washington, Friedmann plays on a Grancino violin and a Grancino viola.
