Clarinet! Horn! Bassoon! Bass! Return of the Montrose Trio and Kostov & Valkov! And of course, plenty of violins, violas, cellos, and piano – our 24th Season is shaping up to be another wonderful two-plus weeks of amazing music and musicians!
We will be offering five pairs of concerts on August 6 & 7, 10 & 11, 13 & 14, 17 & 18, and 20 & 21. The first night of each pair will be at 7:30 p.m. (Pacific Time), and the same repertoire will be repeated at 5:30 p.m. the next evening.
We are welcoming live audiences to every show!
In addition, the second night of each concert pair will be livestreamed!
Free Livestream Concerts
All five of our 24th Season Livestream Concerts are offered free of charge!
Building on the incredible success of our 2020 Season of livestreamed concerts, we’re bringing the intimacy of the Orcas Island Chamber Music Festival directly to your home, or wherever you are – as it’s happening!
This Season, the second performance of each concert pair, on August 7, 11, 14, 18, and 21, will be broadcast live, starting at 5:30 p.m. Pacific Time. You can watch in the comfort of your home, with the comfort of your own treats and libations and whatever you want to wear, snuggled up with your loved ones and pets (which we realize might be the same thing). We are excited to be working with Orcas Center and their team of video experts, along with Festival recording engineer Roger Sherman, to deliver an intimate multi-camera concert experience to you.
Live and Livestream Tickets are available on our website, beginning June 23 at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time. We are grateful to our Board Designated Robert Henigson Fund for support of this season’s Livestream Concerts project.
In-Person Concert Tickets
$40 Adults
$10 Ages 6-18 (OICMF evening concerts are not appropriate for children younger than 6)
All tickets are general admission. Ticket holders will be seated in specific, reserved seats prior to concerts, following state and local guidelines in effect at that time.
Ticket sales will be limited, and all seat assignments will be made by the Festival office in order to follow all safety protocols and still allow as many people as possible in the theater to experience the concerts in person.
There will be no box office sales and no wait-list before each concert this season – all tickets must be purchased online in advance.
Concerts will be shorter than usual, with no intermissions, and we will not be serving beverages or hosting post-concert receptions this season.
Masks will be mandatory at all times, and temperatures may be checked upon arrival.
Please know that, as regulations shift, we hope to be able to offer more seats as we get closer to the concerts. If you are not able to get what you want at the start, please do keep checking back!
