Defying genre and hugely popular, Time for Three has taken the classical cross-over scene by storm and made it their own. These Curtis Institute of Music graduates have performed at the Kennedy Center, at Carnegie Hall and on Dancing with the Stars. Recognized for an uncommon mix of virtuosity and showmanship, programs include everything from Bach to Brahms to their own arrangements of bluegrass, folk tunes and ingenious mash-ups of hits by the Beatles, Katy Perry and Justin Timberlake.

An Evening with Heifetz

OICMF celebrates the legacy of violinist Jascha Heifetz with pianist/violinist Ayke Agus and violinist Chee-Yun. Dr. Agus, who worked with Heifetz as violin student and piano accompanist to his studio, illuminates with stories about Heifetz including excerpts from the award-winning documentary God’s Fiddler. Aloysia and Jackie will host this one-night-only special event!

The Miró Quartet gives the choice of program back to you, the audience. We provide you with an enticing menu of movement options, choose your favorites, and the pieces that receive the highest number of votes will be performed!

In addition, the Festival presents Know the Score Lectures and Pre-Concert Talks. The Lectures are presented the morning of each concert pair, and include coveted visits to concert rehearsals. Comprehensive in scope, they feature highly regarded lecturers from the Northwest and guest artists, who explore the social and historical context of each composer and the specific repertoire of the concert. To learn more, click here. The lecturers also present Pre-Concert Talks one hour before the 7:30pm concerts, which are free and open to all.
