Driving Directions to the OICMF Office and Orcas Center at 917 Mount Baker Road, Eastsound, Washington

Attending Orcas Island Chamber Music Festival events in the San Juan Islands involves riding on Washington State Ferries. Please see the Ferry Travel page for information about ferry schedules, reservations, and tickets.

Plan to arrive at the ferry terminal at least one hour before sailing time, especially during the tourist season, May through September.

On I-5, travel north from Seattle, or south from Bellingham. Take Exit 230 for Washington Highway 20 to BURLINGTON / ANACORTES. Move to the left or center lane before you reach the stoplight.

Turn LEFT onto Westbound Highway 20. Drive 16 miles to Anacortes and take the FIRST RIGHT from the roundabout onto Commercial Ave. (Hwy 20 Spur). Drive 1.3 miles to the third traffic light and Turn LEFT on 12th St. (Hwy 20 Spur) and follow the signs to the Anacortes – San Juan Islands – Sidney (BC) Ferry, about 2 miles. Keep right to drive through the Toll Booth lane and be directed to the boarding lanes.

As you get off the ferry at Orcas, turn LEFT (along with most of the off-loading traffic). Follow Orcas Rd. 8.2 miles toward Eastsound. Rather than turning right into Eastsound Village, continue LEFT onto Lover’s Lane (You will see a Washington Federal clock tower at the corner). After .6 mile the road makes a 90-degree curve and becomes Mount Baker Rd. Continue to the RIGHT, traveling east past the airport on your left and fire station on your right. Just beyond the intersection with North Beach Rd, Orcas Center is on the RIGHT, with a large whale sculpture in front.

The door to the OICMF office is on the west side of the Orcas Center building, around the back. Turn RIGHT at the end of the building and park in the rear parking area. The Festival Office is a short walk up the service driveway beside the building.
