On neighboring Shaw Island, the Benedictine nuns of Our Lady of the Rock Monastery craft these mustards as well as herbal teas and blends with the bounty of the gardens on their farm. We’re excited to offer two new mustards from the nuns: Old Fashioned Dijon Mustard, a classic French-style mustard with a bit of a kick, and Spicy Brown Mustard, not hot, but blended with a mix of spices one usually associates with desserts. The flavors are artfully balanced to create a delicious condiment. We are still offering Mother Prisca’s Hot Mustard, which is just spicy enough to add a little extra bite. The South Beach Picnic Mustard (temporarily out of stock) is a familiar bright yellow, but so much tastier than the mustard we know from our youth.
