Eric Liu is CEO and co-founder of Citizen University, which teaches people across the country how to live like powerful citizens. He and his late wife, Jená Cane, co-founder of CU, came to their first OICMF concert in August 2023, two months before her death from cancer. He will never forget that concert – or the kindness of the Festival team afterward.

Eric was trained as a violinist and played in the Yale Symphony Orchestra as an undergraduate. He made his OICMF debut in 2025. He is so grateful for the opportunity to return and join the brilliant artists and professionals on this stage, and the loving community in this hall. For more information, visit citizenuniversity.us.
