Lisa Bergman
President
Board President Lisa Bergman is a national Gracie Award-winning radio announcer on Classical KING as well as an acclaimed concert and recording artist. A graduate of The Juilliard School, Stony Brook University, and the University of Washington, Lisa made her Carnegie Recital Hall debut in 1983. Her many accomplishments include serving on the University of Washington’s Music Faculty and touring the Pacific Rim as an American Artistic Ambassador.
Lisa is the founder of the Mostly Nordic Chamber Music Series and serves as President of Northwest Opera in Schools, Etcetera, and Adult Piano Retreat Director at the Icicle Creek Center for the Arts.
Before becoming a board member in 2019, Lisa was a valued contributor to OICMF both as a performer and lecturer. Lisa’s diverse background includes serving on the boards of the Icicle Creek Center for the Arts, the Seattle Young Artists Music Festival, and the North Cascades Conservation Council. On a personal note, she is an amateur entomologist engaged in citizen science research with a focus on bumblebees. She lives in Seattle.
